An owner or the spouse of an owner may stand for council, but not both.
The owner's child or the child of an owner's spouse who is over the age of 18 may stand for council, but not at the same time that an owner or an owner's spouse stands for council.
No person may stand for council or continue to be on council with respect to a strata lot if the strata corporation is entitled to register a lien against that strata lot under section 116(1) of the Strata Property Act.
